Every year, millions of people fight for their lives due to sudden cardiac arrest, severe trauma, shock, and other critical illnesses. Today, we know that successful resuscitation is not the achievement of a single intervention, a single technology, or a single specialty. It is the result of a seamless chain of care—from the scene of the event to the intensive care unit—supported by scientific evidence, multidisciplinary teamwork, and the right decisions made at the right time.
BACK TO LIFE was established with this vision as an international, multidisciplinary scientific platform.
Our mission is to bring together professionals from emergency medicine, intensive care, anesthesiology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, prehospital emergency medical services, ECMO, ECPR, perfusion, nursing, and critical care to explore every component of modern resuscitation within a collaborative scientific environment.
BACK TO LIFE aims not only to disseminate current knowledge but also to serve as an international platform where innovative ideas emerge, interdisciplinary collaboration flourishes, and the future of resuscitation systems is shaped.

Our ultimate goal is to return patients to life with meaningful neurological recovery, preserve their quality of life, and achieve these outcomes through sustainable healthcare systems.
